Artificial Intelligence for Digitising Industry

The AI4DI Consortium

For over three years, and in collaboration with more than 40 other companies from all over Europe, NxTech has been working on building demonstrators. The project aimed to show Artificial Intelligence used in edge computing, in contrast to the widely used cloud computing. AI4DI encompassed several types of industries, concluding in November 2022 with the presentation of all demonstrators at a joint gathering in Reims, France.

Supply chains

We divided the consortium into the following segments; Machining, Automotive, Semiconductor, Transport, Food & Beverage. The group has held regular meetings, both online and physically. Dissemination, based on open online (open access), established a solid foundation for exchanging completed work, knowledge and ideas.

Subcontractor chains

In collaboration with Intellectual Labs, Sintef and Denofa, NxTech has worked on the predicative maintenance of machines in the process line and the acquisition and aggregation of real-time measurement data to optimize the production of flour, oil and lecithin from soybeans. We divided the segments into different groups. The food segment consists of two groups; grape production in the Champagne district in France and soybeans in Fredrikstad. Sensors shown on this page (ref. pictures below) are now used on conveyors in the factory to measure water content in soybeans and temperature and humidity in air ducts.
